The T4 was one of the diesel-electric locomotives built by the Swedish company NoHAB under license from EMD. What distinguished it from all others was that it had only one cab and a long and a short hood. With an A1A-A1A wheel arrangement, it had an axle load of only 14 tonnes. Its engine had twelve cylinders and an output of 1,450 hp. Only five were built and initially they were mainly used for passenger service. Later they were only used in freight service and renamed to T41. In 1978, three were withdrawn after a line had been electrified and by 1988, also the other two were gone.
