In 1911 and 1912, the LBE ordered five 2-6-0T tank locomotives from Linke-Hofmann for mixed traffic. They were based on the Prussian T 93 and also had a Krauss-Helmholtz bogie that connected the leading axle to the first driving axle. They had larger drivers with a diameter of 1,400 instead of 1,350 mm, allowing for a top speed of 70 instead of 65 km/h.
The five locomotives received the numbers 118 to 122 and were named “Rothenburgsort”, “Hasselbrook”, “Schlutup”, “Moisling” and “Dänischburg”. On the level, they were able to haul a 250-tonne train with their top speed. When the LBE was nationalized in 1938, the four remaining locomotives were numbered 74 361 to 73 364. After World War II they came to the Bundesbahn, but were already retired between 1950 and 1954.
