Czechoslovak State Railways class M 152.0

The ČSD class M 152.0, later reclassified as class 810, is a series of two-axle diesel railcars built for regional service. Manufactured between 1975 and 1982, the fleet comprised 678 vehicles, with two additional adapted for Soviet broad gauge (1,520 mm). These railcars were designed to replace the unreliable M 240.0 series and were constructed using components from bus manufacturing to reduce costs and simplify maintenance. Each unit features a six-cylinder LIAZ ML 634 engine delivering 155 kW, enabling a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The passenger compartment offers 56 seats and approximately 40 standing places. Modernized versions are marketed under the “RegioMouse” brand.
