Philadelphia & Reading No. 100 (1913)

In 1913, the Philadelphia and Reading built a 4-4-2 inspection engine in their own shops. It got the number 100, after another 4-4-0 inspection engine of the same number built in 1902 was renumbered to 102. The new one had larger drivers of 68.5 inches, larger cylinders and a larger boiler with a flat Wootten firebox. It could haul two passenger cars without any problems and was in use until 1929.
