Jodhpur State class HGA

In 1924, when the Jodhpur State Railway was founded from the splitting of the metre-gauge Jodhpur-Bikaner Railway, they received five Mikados from Baldwin. They were of the manufacturer's type 12-26 E 1/4 with works numbers 58052 to 58056. The railway designated them class HGA and gave them the numbers 85 to 89. Although they had drivers of only 44 inches (1,118 mm), they were officially ordered for freight and passenger service. Their main task was to haul grain trains of up to 80 cars, what allowed to increase the haulage capacity by 75 percent.
