In 1889, Dickson Locomotive works delivered a number of camelback locomotives to the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western. Five of these were 2-8-0 locomotives which had cylinders of 20 by 24 inches and drivers of 52 inches. Works numbers were 713 to 717. Three were numbered 246 to 248 and two, destined for the Buffalo Division, were numbered 111 and 112. The other locomotives were 15 2-6-0 with drivers of 57.7 inches.
