The ÖNWB series IXb, numbered 402 to 410, were nine light baggage locomotives built in Floridsdorf in 1880. They were the more powerful follow-ups of the two IXa built one year earlier. Like their predecessors, they had two cylinders mounted in the middle of the vehicle, driving the first axle. They could be used economically with one or two passenger cars, not requiring an additional baggage car due to the integrated baggage compartment. When the ÖNWB was nationalized in 1909, the IXb became kkStB class 4.0, while the IXa became class 3.0. After World War I, three came to the ČSD where they were called M 112.0. In the thirties they were only used as shunters and the last one was withdrawn in 1948.
