In the genset switcher lineup of NRE, the 1GS7B was the least powerful one. It utilizes a single six-cylinder Cummins QSK19C delivering 700 hp, the same one as used in the 1,400 and 2,100 hp models. From 2008, seven have been built for several customers. Meanwhile, NRE has replaced the 1GS7B with the 1GS8B that uses a 800-hp variant of the same engine and has a central cab.
