The ЧС4Т (ChS4T) is a six-axle passenger locomotive built by Škoda for use under 25 kV AC. It was developed from the ЧС4 “Laminatka”, but its car body was changed from fiberglass to sheet metal. Its 5,100 kW hourly and 4,800 kW continuous output were unchanged from the ЧС4, but there were several improvements in the electrics. Power transmission was via the Škoda quill drive. Between 1971 and 1986, 510 have been delivered. They are being used in the European part of Russia and some in Belarus. Withdrawals started in 2016.
