The class P was a camelback Consolidation designed by George W. West for pusher service on coal trains. ALCO-Cooke built 20 between 1900 and 1904, these were numbered 201 to 220. Starting in 1920, the NYO&W equipped them with superheaters. They remained in service in World War II and were retired in the late forties.
